Tea Review: Colonial Bohea Pekoe Black Tea - Oliver Pluff and Company

Happy Friday to all! Today, I decided to return to a tea that makes me quite giddy - Colonial Bohea (pronounced Boo-Hee) Pekoe Black Tea from Oliver Pluff and Company !  Every so often, I do enjoy a nice smoky tea ( Hu-Kwa from Mark T. Wendell Tea Company is my all time favourite) and I love telling people about lapsang souchong and how it can scent up half of your house when brewing it! The Colonial Bohea, although a black tea, is quite smooth on my stomach in the morning; in fact, I had three cups of it while taking my French Revolution course this morning! Vive le France! First Slurp: Like I said, this tea is quite smooth on my stomach. The First Slurp had a creamy smoky feel to it, with an undertone of earthy. You can add cream and/or sugar to this Tea, but quite honestly it doesn't need anything extra. You can enjoy this Tea all by itself. It's quite cold here in Memphis, so the Colonial Bohea is a good "stay indoors and watch movies or be creative" Tea....

Review - Stassen Jasmine Green Tea

Now that the holidays are (somewhat) over, I'M BACK! Staring 2020 on a good foot or cup! While making my latest trip to New Orleans, I finally ventured into Hong Kong Market . If you ever visit New Orleans or you live there, this is the place to go to for all your international food needs! Whenever I go to an international market, I always go to the Tea aisle first - habit. Their aisle did not disappoint and it was there that I learned about Stassen Tea . Stassen Tea, located in Ceylon (Sri Lanka), appears to have quite the selection of teas on their website - I also picked up a box of their Ceylon Tea, like ya do. Okay, here we go - Jasmine Green Tea! As soon as I pulled out the bag of tea bags from the box, I had to smell the tea. WOW! The scent was quite a lovely blend of jasmine and green tea. I know that sounds really dumb, but bear with me - sometimes, with blends, you will get one ingredient overpowering the others, making you wonder just exactly what you ar...
